Out and about

I seem to have been all over the place this week, its been lovely. One day Dad and I went to Hereford with Lynda, who had a friend playing in the orchestra in the Three Choirs Festival. It turned out that it was Stravinsky, and I don't much like it, so Lynda and Dad attended the concert while I had a stroll round Hereford. Then, I met Kate and John one day for a long walk along the canal and round two lakes, before a pub lunch and back over the hill to Ellesmere; that gave Bella something to think about - she loved it. And yesterday Alex and I went to the coast, walked a mile or so along the beach, then honey ice cream and a very steep hill called Bird Rock, with good views from the top.

this lump of rock was once a sea cliff, when sea levels were higher. Now its 7 miles inland.
