Edit Blog Post
My roommate, Alex, took this picture of me with a crocodile-faced Mozart at the Albertina, which was a museum that we went to with our German class. It was really interesting, and I learned a lot about Mozart, and it was in a beautiful old palace.
More recently, last night, some friends (Matt, Katie, and Daniel) and I went to see "Schlangen am Flugzeug" meaning "Snakes on a Plane." In case you don't know, "Snakes on a Plane" is a big hit right now in the US, and although I hadn't seen it in English, I thought it would be really fun to see it in German, and it was really, really funny dubbed in German.
Today, my German class went to the Rathaus and got a tour of the inside, and then ate at a cafe and I had the best grilled cheese sandwich ever, and "Eis Kaffee" meaning ice cream-coffee. It was really good, and even better because it was all paid for by IES :P
Anyway, as I still have some pictures I want to show, I will disperse a few more in this entry.
More later! On Friday, I leave for the Hungary-Poland-Czech
Rep. trip, so it might be a week and a half or so before I update again, in case there is no internet available during that trip.
Love, Alia

Poland, etc., here you come!
I passed on your blog address to a few people whom I thought might be interested, such as Aunt Martha. We'll be waiting for more entries when you get back from your swing across eastern Europe . . . don't forget your Deutsch while you're away!
