Hi everyone, well we're at Adelaide airport waiting for a flight back to Melbourne. Had a great weekend with Chris and Rosie. Yesterday we met up with Eugene and Reiner and headed down to the harbour where we walked to Glenelg which is by the coast. There were a couple getting married on the beach, getting blown away from the look of it ! We had lunch, looked round the shops, met up with the lads who had found there way into the 'pokies' again ! They seem to love pokies out here. It was a breezy day but the sun came out right at the end of it, made the harbour look very pretty. Stu said none of this had been built when he last came here 16 years ago. We then headed back to their place, time for nibbles and some wine and Eugene and Reiner turned up in the evening so we could meet their son, Paddy. Paddy is 23 years old and is a footballer who plays for Norwood, which is a Stateside Team, SAFL, I'm still not quite sure what football is all about over here! infact haven't got a clue !! Remember we went to AFL football in Melbourne, so still none the wiser, I'm not the best person to blog about footie !! Very polite lad is Paddy, he appears to be up and coming, so we will watch this space ! Last time Stu saw Paddy, he was 7 years old ! Adelaide seems very different to other parts of Australia we have visited, it is very much like America on the east side. The roads are set out in grids and probably because it is Autumn and the trees are sheding their leaves, it reminds me of Maine in the U.S.
