A lie in – again another rarity..
Lazy breakfast, messed about with a slow internet connection, had lunch then off for a 12 mile bike ride in the heat, about 23 today I think. The sunshine & rain of the past few days has brought the countryside to life with poppies in the wheat fields, really pretty.
It's a festival day here & the site started filling up last night with Italian outfits & today with day visitors to the beach. Families on the site, on the beach side & on patios in the nearby houses came together for big lunches in the shade. Someone turned the cd player up & they were dancing together which was very spontaneous..
On the menu tonight is veal cooked outside on the burner & after last night an early bath...
