The shower!
Not a lot of privacy! Hey this is going too fast! We've done a lot of driving so thought we would prop here today, it's a beautiful place. See some of the pics to show that The weather is pretty warm though cool when you wake. Had the best nights sleep as it was so dark and so quiet. I was up early and I walked down to the beach myself. I was the only one there! It's a pretty isolated place. it was absolutely beautiful. Tide was out so I ventured into the Rock pools but they caught me out! Funny vid but I cant upload so you'll have to take my word for it!
Headed back for some breaky and we decided to walk into town. It was pretty close. It's a busy little town, heaps of backpackers. We asked how to get to the next town 1770. Catch a cab or walk. 6.7 k's can't be too bad we thought! So we walked! Phew I know I was absolutely buggared and I don't think rob was doing so well! It was pretty damned hot. Not complaining mind you but we will just have to know that our walking should be early morning
Agnes Water
Early morning beach or late arvo, from here on.
1770 was a lovely town too. Apparently it's named that because Cooky was here back in the day. There were information boards on the way between towns but I was too buggared to read them! We had some lunch at a pub called the Tree. Pretty sure it'd be mad on Friday nights! Nice food and we felt heaps better. Caught a cab back though, didn't want to risk that good vibe!
Robs knee is pretty sore so we are taking it easy this afternoon. Went for a cooling walk on the beach again this evening, its a surf beach and the water is so warm! Going to have a quiet night is this very peaceful environment and head off early tomorrow. As I sit here in my Foxy Lady chair, feet cooling off in the fine sand, breeze blowing around me, some mad hippy playing his guitar and being all john Butlerish, I'm reminded that we are On the Wallaby! PS Miss everybody xxxx
