Jerry is still not up to par but is going along with the program in spite of a cough, and blocked ear. He has seen the doctor twice and been given medications but so far not so good. Tomorrow we fly to Xian, China to see the terra cotta soldiers, staying two nights there before flying to Beijing for an overnight and then back to the ship. Fingers crossed.
The sun was shining on this lovely Spring day and so we took the shuttle to the Bund and walked around.
Since it was Saturday, there were so many brides out on the Bund (a promenade around the harbor) getting pictures taken. I was fascinated by the poses and clothes as evidenced by the pictures. We walked back to the ship and watched 3 weddings in the making from out ship’s deck.
I couldn’t help but take a close up of the goodie table of the wedding I could see the best. Seemed a little sparse but there weren’t that many guests either. The bride and groom departed as soon as they became man and wife and the guest went and helped themselves while the wedding decor
was deconstructed. Seems like a very thrifty way to gp. The couple must have had pictures take prior to the occasion as there was a huge display which you can see from the back. That too was dismantled immediately after the ceremony.

Still Shanghied
Love the wedding pictures and it is no wonder the Chinese people are so tiny judging from their wedding feast! Hope Jerry starts to feel better soon.
