Bago's ready to go! Well today was a BIG day. Started out before 4 in the morning. Looked like Marli was going to miss us, she stood on the verandah and watched us drive off. She looked a bit sad. Felt pretty melancholy myself.. Even though its going to be a great trip it will take some getting used to and it will be sad being away from everyone,especially the wee littlies!
But none the less, here we go!
Rob did a fabulous job today, driving for 10 or more hours. I wasn't any help as I was trying to recover from the residuals of a head ache, so rode in the 'first class cabin' for quite a while.
(Sshh don't tell anyone, but its up the top in the bed! Not entirely legal, but very comfy!)
We stopped a few times for coffee breaks. Lunch was at Jerilderie, in Ned Kelly country. Cute little place, plenty of Ned memorabilia.
First overnight stop is at Forbes. We have cute river side spot, a freeby (gotta love that!) Seems like a nice little town. Weird statues in the town centre, though.
We will have a pretty early night. So far we have traveled 818 k's. We

Lynn can 'bearly' stand to leave the kids behind! only are doing this to get to Qld so we can start the Bago bash in the sunnier climes and at a more leisurely pace!
