I hiked about a fourth of this mountain (the upper part of the trail is visible in near the peak). But, in the thick spruce forest of the bottom half, my fear of bears compelled me to turn back.

Grandparents on the Klondike
My grandparents flew up from Buffalo, NY for a trip on the Kenai Peninsula, with stops in Whittier, Seward, and Anchorage, of course.
