Finally in Madrid!

After much travel, no sleep, funny cheese sticks and wine on the plane I made it.

I am now at the internet cafe conveniently located above McDonalds, which is next to KFC, which is near my hotel . . . and is disgusting!! No American fast food chains allowed! But I am here with two new friends named Jillian and Alicia (both from BU).

The flights were fine, despite the turbulance on the first long haul from JFK to Paris. I didn´t faint at least!

I DID watch a really great French comedy film.

And no I have not been pickpocketed.

It is pretty warm here, but still nice weather. No rain yet!

Sorry no pictures yet. I feel gross anyway, but hopefully I will be able to put some up soon!
