Last nights Chicken kebabs - 6e! Anyone who follows me on twitter will have seen a serious amount of travelling was done Wednesday and Thursday! We flew with Delta airlines who were pretty good in fairness, they kept us feed and also offer a good range of in flight entertainment. Mahone had been telling me what a good TV series House of Cards was and thankfully this proved to be one of the rare occasions where he was right - I watched the first 5 episodes and Mags got in 6. Basically no sleep was gotten for the 48 hours bar the odd nap as airplanes and airport floors can be pretty uncomfortable (First time sleeping on an airport floor!)
We had a slight problem getting our Peruvian visa (by slight I mean getting stopped at customs for 1.5 hrs) I dont know what the problem was as my Spanish isnt that far advanced yet but mysteriously we were let through in the end. Speaking of Spanish, I´ve grown a bit more confident as time has gotten on and its starting to become second nature. We arrived at our hostel in Cusco yesterday morning - Pariwana. Looks to be a great shout so far, communal kitchen

Kept me going through all those stopovers! and area, free wifi and computer usage and lots of planned activities for anyone interested. (photo attached)
Spent the evening looking around Cusco just getting familiar with the place. The locals are very friendly but we were shocked at the non refrigerated amounts of raw meat being sold in a dozen different shops and stalls around the place. We visited the Temple of the Sun this morning and plan to hit some more of the sights this afternoon. (2 o clock now)
Adios!
