So Finally reliable Internet connection and TIME to tell all!

Herc is seriously questioning why he came with Him and Her at all. Locked in a dark and squishy case full of human clothing stuff and not much air. Dragged around oppressively humid gardens, without a whiff of breathable air and Her getting beside herself with how pretty everything was. He had Him to share the "I just don't get it!" moments. At least the staff at the Dubai Hotel thought Herc was a bit cute! Then we were all subjected to building shaking music and roof lifting cheering of hundreds of teenage females high on oestrogen or something and once in a lifetime achievements for all at Vaulting at WEG Normandie 2014. It's all more than a Horse or a Bear can take! Her worked really hard to try to keep everyone happy and informed and walked away from WEG without too much "self bashing up"

Her and Him took a morning off from all the bedlam at WEG 2014 on Thursday to do some tourist stuff after an exciting trip to a French language Laundromat which they successfully negotiated thanks to lots of sign language with a French only speaking co-washer! Then they left Herc laying lost and alone in the street in Bayeux while they went off to have a superb lunch of Galletes (Gynormous pancakes filled full of luscious food). Lucky for all, Him and Her realise that Herc was missing and even more luckily he was not rescued by any one else. It is a forlorn place to be lost and alone on a pavement in rural France!

Herc is nor sure that it wasn't such a bad place after all. He now gets to travel in Her's handbag with the zip tab jamming him to the end of the handbag or else firmly grasped around the neck by Him.

After a TVG train ride from Normandy, we all had a ride on the Metro to Arc de Triumph today. All three of us understand that Chris is Seriously Superman negotiating the Arc de Triumph in a motorhome. On that score, the hire car was returned without any additional scratches and it never ended up on the wrong side of the road- just went up what proved to be a one way street (the wrong way) once. We strolled down the Avenue de Champs Elysees this afternoon and stopped for a "glace" (ice cream) which was something so special there are no photos. Him keeps thinking Maccas looks good and Her won't let him do anything but French. Great meal this evening in a Brasserie opposite the Hotel in Paris. A week in France and we are now into the automatic lifting of shoulders and eyebrows and the occasional "phftt"

Heading to Sacre Coeur and Place de Tetre (hopefully to see MSR Lambert) in the morning and Moulin Rouge in the evening. Her is on strict instructions not to buy from MSR Lambert but sometimes a girl just has to do what a girl just has to do. Still got to download photos so watch out for more later.

Sacre Bleu!!
Her, Him and Herc look like they are having lots of fun!! (Well, when you remember to take Herc out of the suitcase!!) Enjoying looking at the photos, especially the food ones - I'm guessing this will be at least a 5kg trip (and you haven't even started the river cruise yet!!). Take care and have fun. Mike & Jenny
