Empire State Building trip

FRED after a longish break from the sun, back at our Accom, we walked thru the Korean area to the ESB. The streets were extremely busy and police at every corner with Homeland Security outside Madison Sq Garden/Penn Station (its the same building!). Scalpers rush to gteet you a few streets from ESB to offer huge discounts and no queuing "for $108 you wont queue for the usual 2 hours...." I had used these guys 10 years earlier when their promise of 'no queuing' made sense as I was with my elderly father - yep, we queued then so not again old chum.

We went to the box office, paid $29 each and went straight to the top! It was twilight with the promise of thunderstorms (they never appeared). As it got darker it became magical - our pics prob won't do it justice but here they are - plus a couple of our apartment.
