Hudson River walk/ Staten Island Ferry/ Wall Street/ 9.11 Memorial

FranVery hot again. We started walking down through town, then turned right to follow the river side and enjoy some cool river breeze. Lovely green landscaped park all along the bank of the Hudson. Fantastic views of the new World Trade Centre, Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island and New Jersey. Playgrounds, water sprinklers and sculpture artworks all adding interest.

Then we took the Staten Island free ferry across the water and enjoyed the fine close up view of Liberty and of Manhattan.
