Hello world! It was a god thing we took a vacation. Work has been heavy since returning home. But, finally the painting is doen, all but the few bits of trim and clean-up.

Today I show the signs and results of getting them back up. I'm too proud of those repainted signs. It would have cost $450 to redo each professionally. It was fun to try and succeed in doing them ourselves. Masking the letters with tape where we could and free-hand doing the curves was interesting to say the least. The new garage worked well as a studio!!

First, a broken tree next door to our house. Sometime in the night these two big branches came down off an old cottonwood tree next door, narrowly missing the houses and the cars parked near.

The IDA sign turned out best. They both look very good on the side of the drugstore facing westbound traffic on main street.

This shows the signs and the blue trim all around the top of the building. Looks good I think and a nice job to have behind us.
