Ive been getting some emails and msn notes that people dont know where I am. Well to sum it all up Im back home in Calgary! The trip through Europe was amazing but I ran out of money too quick and towards the end I was just way too burnt out to go look for work overseas so I caught a standby flight home and I have been back here ever since. I think that was back on the 11th so Ive been back a while now. I flew home just before that London flight bombing scare so I got home just in time.

I start work on September 5th at a company in Calgary www.pason.com. I am a Help Desk Analyst there. I am going to be doing telephone and email tech support for their equipment in the field. They manufacture monitoring equipment for drilling rigs in the oil and gas fields in Canada and the US. Their equipment is supposed to be on 90% of all rigs in Canada so I guess they know what they are doing. The job sounds pretty good and since its a 4 day on 4 day off schedule once I have all my trip paid off Im going to try and do some travelling within Canada so any of you Canucks and Americans that I might have met overseas expect an email begging for a couch to crash on pretty soon.

It is so weird for me to be back home. I keep finding myself saying things like, "You think this ice cream is good? You should have tried the Gelatti from this small little place right off the beach in Venice." I think its starting to drive some people a bit crazy but Im doing my best to keep quiet. There are a million things I miss about being overseas but it is nice to be back in my own bed not having to worry about sleeping with a sleep sheet and being able to shower without those damn flip-flops.

Whats the next trip? I am still mulling that one over. There are a number of places that I regret not seeing over in Europe so that might be it or Asia-Pacific Rim-Australia. When would the next trip be? I have a way to go on paying off this one but only time will tell. Im thinking about keeping up with this travelblog while Im back here. There are a million things that Im looking forward to seeing in Calgary and around the province so once I get a new camera, keep an eye out for some Alberta touristy sights.

I had a blast on my trip and although it was really nice going places that I had never been or seen before, the highlight of my trip by far was all of the amazing people that Little Mikka and I got to meet overseas.

Im still going through all of the pictures that I took so there will be more pictures coming up on this blog in the next little while so if you ever wonder where the pictures from a certain place are, they are probably on there way.

Well I should get back to catching up on the Simpsons :-)
