Hey guys- Jess here

Just had a really relaxing time at Koh Samet.. we've been living in the lap of luxury for 5 days- air conditioning, VIP travel, people waiting on us all day, cocktails on the beach, etc... I think we'll have a bit of a shock when we travel on sweaty trains and sleep in wooden huts! Bangkok is great- everyone here is so nice and friendly. They all LOVE their royal family too- its nothing like in england. There are shrines and dedications to them EVERYWHERE, and if the national anthem plays- everyone stops what they're doing and stands still on the street until the end- surreal.

We were trekking on Koh Kudee Island- quite rough terrain- don't think we were prepared with our sarongs and flip flops! Amy had to borrow a pair from our speedboat driver- cos she broke hers!

Our 6 hour boat trip ended with a visit to a fish farm where we got to see lots of different fishes, sharks and Mr Turtle! ;)

At Jep's restaurant
Lovely restaurant on the beach- great food, music and pretty lighting... don't order anything off the set menu though- i think we had the most complicated and traumatic experience trying to explain our order to the waiter.... was a bit of a shame- oh well- I still loved it there!
