Me he levantado a las 7 y he empezado a desmontar campamento.

I got up at 7 and I have started to dismantle the camp. There has been some strong wind sind 5am and some short cloudburst, but otherwise there was blue sky. When I was almost ready I've seen a huge gray cloud coming fast. Ihad time just to carry everything on the rush under the ceiling of the toilet building as it began to rain hard. And so it has keeped for almost an hour. Meanwhile I've been eating breakfast and chitchat with people. At the end at about 11 I was on the road, quite late, but at least I was invited to breakfast bacon and fried eggs, and a local cyclist has given me valuable information on recommended routes and not so recommended ones. As yet there is a strong west wind, a 30 knots northwest in the morning and then changing to southwest 15 knots in the afternoon, the coastal route was easy. I have chosen this route to avoid the main road and not have to climb the mountains. When there were 20km left to Gladstone the dirt road through the woods has started, almost here I saw a Tasmanian devil, dead but pretty cool, the bug is bigger than I thought. The dirt road was not bad , nothing to do with Carretera Austral , basically compacted clay with few bumps. In Gladstone I stopped to eat and rest a while, and get water. And from there I made the last 30 km to Policemans Point, a Free Campsite . There have been quite a few hills at the end and a deep gorge that went quite down and back up. In the end I arrived at dusk, I found a site between 2 caravans and I cooked my dinner. When I was in the tent I heard noises and when I came out I saw a pretty big Possum tried to steal the garbage bag, and when I got that away he has begun chewing the bag covering the bike seat, I have removed all what may attract him and now the very stupid guy is up in the tree making a noise like snoring , maybe angry with me. I think he will be annoying me all night long.
