Hi blog followers.

Yesterday was another great day. Both weather wise and event wise.

First up we headed to the Phillip Island GP Circuit for a tour of the circuit, timers box, pit lane, hot lap car and the "winners Podium". A great tour as you get to see things not normally available to the general public. Then it was up to Cowes (main town on Phillip Island) for fish and chips for lunch just sitting on the grass in the sun overlooking the bay. Perfect.

Just before night fall we then headed to the Penguin Sanctuary for a VIP tour of the Little Penguin Parade. Again, another tour well worth the money as you get to spend time in the "sky tower" with the National Parks officers helping to count the penguins coming ashore and then down to the beach up close and personal section to see the little penguins crossing the beach and heading up the trail to their burrow for the night. So close you could just reach out and touch the little critters.

They are so funny. A bit like Laurel and Hardy. I.e. You will get a slim one and a "well built" one waddling up the beach bumping into each other and falling over and then just sitting there looking at each other wondering what to do next.

Enjoy the photos.

Yep. We got to see them up close and personal as we decided to take the VIP tour which had special privileges.
