Toowoomba to Melbourne

Hi all.

We are on Phillip Island now and will be here for 5 or 6 days as there are quite a few things we want to see and do.

We started off by doing our usual familiarisation trip including Nobbies Headland and then headed to Wonthaggi to check out the Historical State Coal Mine and do a mine tour. What a great experience just to get an idea how hard it was back in the early 1900's working in a coal mine.

Yesterday we visited the Heritage Farm, the chocolate factory (yum) and then did the Seal Rocks Cruise in the afternoon. All great experiences. Especially Seal Rocks. It's a hard life being a Seal.

Given the Island is reasonably flat, it has given us a chance to get the pushbikes down and go for a decent ride to get a bit more exercise. Rides and long walks each day helps to counter the daily happy hours.

Hope you enjoy the pictures.

Very interesting
Seeing the coal mine and seeing the seals too. I must go back to Phillip Island, one day, and do these things too. Enjoy. X
