I wasn't thinking it would be this soon, but here's my first post.
I've arrived in Singapore to a three and a half hour delay.
It's close to 1am and the plane doesn't leave until 3.30.
Apparently the pilot who was taking the Singapore to London flight was rushed to hospital and they had to get another in.
For 1am in the morning, it's very humid. It's sitting at around 30 degrees celsius.
We got a free meal at one of the food outlets here (not Maccas unfortunately) which was good, although it went down the toilet soon after!
My plane now arrives in London at around 9.30am instead of 6. The flight to Singapore was long enough. I didn't sleep at all (got a seat in the damn middle, so no window and no aisle), but watched two movies and the console also has games you can play from your remote, like mini golf, ten pin bowling (Aaron would have loved it), chess etc.
Singapore airport is really cool (not in a temperature way). It accommodates for English speaking people better than Asian speaking. I had a local beer (well, it came from China). It tasted like crap to start with, but then I got the taste for it.
There is free internet available, and even pools and spas and cool restaurant/bar gardens you can sit at. Unfortunately, there's not much happening at 1am, so I'm bored shitless. Lucky I found the internet.
Hopefully I can post either when I'm at Heathrow or at Katy's (my cousin) in Milton Keynes.
