Merry Christmas!
A lot of people have asked me how the locals celebrate Christmas in Hong Kong. Unlike the U.S., Christmas eve is a festive and loud event. For some reason, the locals
love to count down in any major event. So on Christmas eve, thousands of people gathered together by the harbour to witness fireworks and count down till Christmas. Apparently, some people even dress in costume for the occasion. Some people hold parties at their home as well and exchange gifts.

And the amount of people are like swarms of bees on a mission and the lines to pay for your items are unreal.
