Arrived in London town after nearly not making my flight.
I was sent to the back of the queue as the one I was in closed as I reached the front after waiting for half an hour. Once I did reach the check in counter I was sent rushing off to pay excess baggage for my board. In the mean time boarding was about to close on my flight. Fun, Fun, Fun.

Anyway, Sure enough, I arrived in London to some Barmy weather and Caught the Bus to Meet Darren. He met me a tube stop one stop away from his new apartment. I checked out his new pad and inside was his girlfriend Mary. It was a Friday night so I went to Leicester Square to Meet Clint and Andre who are also living and working in London. Darren couldn't make it as Mary had only arrived the day before and they still had some catching up to do.

Was great to see the boys. Hadn't seen Andre for 7 months since he moved to London and Clint since I left Melbourne. We had an awesome all you can eat Chinese and then explored So Ho and Trafalgar Square. I caught the last tube back to Darren's after planning a big night with the boys for the next night. Saturday morning Darren, Mary and I took a Double Decker bus tour. We weren’t really in the mood so we bailed at the Eye of the Sky, saw the queue and gave that a miss too. There was a bit of atmosphere on the bank created by DJ on and guys doing crazy flips and rolls around the place.

We headed back to Darren's where he and Mary had an afternoon "nap" and I Drank beer with Darren’s house mates. Later Darren and Mary emerged and we went out for Thai. We later met The G Man, Ben, Jar, Andre and his Brother, Belinda and her boy friend James. Some of the Gang went to a club while the rest of us went to a pub.

As it got towards the last train for the night Darren and Mary headed home to spend some time together, so it was down to me and the G Man. Went to a club and then hung out in Trafalgar Square for a while, bumped into Ben and put him on a bus which he apparently fell asleep on and missed his stop. As the Sun began to rise Clint and I arrived at Darren’s. After a short nap we Went to Andre’s and then to Ben and Jar’s. We went out to a pub for lunch where most of us hooked into the Bangers and Mash. We then cruised back to Ben and Jar’s where we ended up having drinks into the morning with them and their house mates. Another very brief sleep before a train ride back to Darren’s, grabbed my bags, said good bye and then onto the tube for a train ride to Heathrow and onto New York. My stay was a little short and I wish I had allowed a few more days to hang out and chatch up with some more friends.
If I follow Darren's lead and move to London for work next year I will have to make up for it then.

I can't believe your still travelling!
London is like home for me now. You really should come back and not just say you will! :) Yeah it was a pity you were only here for a few days as we didn't really get to do much. I can't believe you are still travelling and living out of your backpack. Make the most of your trip and keep in touch. I want to read about your Vegas week. ;)
