Hi again all,

I'm now in Pushkar which is probably on of the holiest places in India, One of the main Hindu gods fought a devil here with a lotus plant, where the petals fell in the desert, a lake formed. This is the pushkar lake. The gods name, Brahim, spelt wrong sorry was only allowed temples here as well so its a really holy place, no alcohol or meat can be consumed within the town, which suits me fine as I have major digestive problems, ie its all gone to soup!

The last few days have been pretty hectic and hot, I'm in Rajistan now which is stupidly hot, doing anything other than lying on a bed results in you just pissing with sweat. Yesterday I was blessed by a priest and had some red spice put on my forehead, kind of like a bhindi which was really cool, I said a few prayers and threw some petals into the lake, however I once I started walking round and sweating this spice rn down my face, I looked like I'd been in a fight!

Before Here I was in Jaipur which was really nice, theres apartments going up everywhere and malls and of all of India I have been to, its the cleanest city, far cleaner than Delhi or Agra. Theres plenty to see in Japuir, I went round Amber fort which was great although I'm getting to the stage where once you seen one Mogul fort/castle You kind have seen them all, I feel like I'm been dragged round castles by my dad again! The Observatory was the best thing there though, truely amazing, the majaraha/king, jai who the city is named after was a nut for astronomy and science so he got the persians in to build him a clock/sundial, which is the largest in the world, accurate to 2 seconds and loads of other fangled devices like a calender, smaller sundial and things to work out when eclipses were gonna happen. The observatory itself looks like a piece of art anyway, its Jaipurs answer to Barcelonas Park Guell, I really liked Jaipur and certainly would go back.

Before that was agra and the Taj Mahal. There's not a lot to say that hasn't already been said, I'll say in your lifetime you need to stand in front of the Taj Mahal and admire it. Its as amazing as everyone says it is and it was always gonna be a highlight of my trip. Book a hostel where you can look at it all day, its changes of colours with the time of the day is something to behold.

I'll put some pictures up of that and other stuff soon, I keep forgetting the bloody lead for my camera when I go out!

Thanks for all the messages everyone is sending me by the way, I am reading them, keep in touch everyone. I hope your all ok back home, get some money together and join me, I've still got 3 months and a lot of things to see! This could be your chance!
