Visakhapatnam aka Vizag can also be called Goa of east coast. You will not get the vibes of Goa but surely love the calmness.

A short stroll along the main street – one side is the harbor; the dolphin nose that the local call typical “Beach Road” storefronts. People near would be reminded of early morning walk of marine drive. Nice restaurants, shops, galleries and our destination, INS, Kurusura Submarine Museum! This is a sibling to the Shipwrecks Museum explored on the Outer Banks a day earlier. The museum was being decorated for a Navy day event to benefit the local club.

Another added attraction the Borra Caves at Anatagiri Hills. These Cave are created of calcium-cabon composition stones and are worth a visit atleast once. Travelling to this place is a headache, prefer a private vehicle and you can enjoy on the way sights. Best season to go is when there are light drizzles.

The best part Rishikonda beach, calm n quiet. It felt that I left all my past worries. This is one of the most picturesque beaches. Bereft of city trappings,you will be struck by its raw power.with a panoramic view of the coast ,the resort on the adjacent hill, the sw companies buildings on hills nearby. You have to be aware of the heat in the summer.
