Esta noche ha vuelto a hacer frío. A las 8 he salido de la tienda para apuntarme al desayuno y despues de descongelar la camara he hecho un par de fotos de la parcela de camping de enfrente, ya que el encargado se ha dejado el riego puesto toda la noche. Al final despues de desayunarme 6 pancaces y un par de cafes estaba en marcha a las 11. Despues de cruzar el centro de Holbrook ha sido todo interestatal. Con una parada para fotografiar al tronco Geronimo, el mas grueso del mundo segun el hombre de la tienda. Luego otra parada en una gasolinera en Winslow para comer, donde una banda de hippies me han dado sus bendiciones. Y de ahi 20 millas mas hasta el camping del Crater Barringer o Meteor Crater. Cierran a las 5, asi que hoy no daba tiempo, ire mañana pronto a sacar buenas fotos y hacer el tour. El campamento lo recojo a la vuelta. Durante el dia de hoy ha sido todo desierto, con una montaña enfrente, que parece estar cerca, pero a la que nunca llegas. Todavia la tengo alli en el horizonte.

This night was cold again. At 8 I left the tent to go for breakfast and after unfreezing the camera I made a couple of photos of the pitch opposite, because the manager has left the watering overnight. Finally after six pancaces and a couple of cafes I was on the road at about 11. After crossing the center of Holbrook has all been interstate. With a stop for picture of the log Geronimo, the thickest in the world according to the man in the store. Then another stop at a gas station in Winslow to eat, where a band of hippies have given me their blessings. And from there 20 miles to the campground of Barringer Crater or Meteor Crater. They close at 5 , so there was not time today , tomorrow I'll go soon to take good photos and do the tour. I will pick up camp after the tour. During the day today was all desert with a mountain in the front, which seems to be close, but to which you never arrive. I have it still there on the horizon.
