Esta mañana he salido de la tienda a las 7:30. A partir de las 6 he notado algo de frio en los pies pero he dormido bastante bien el resto de la noche. Al salir de la tienda hacia un frio de cojones. He mirado el termometro de la bici y creo que marcaba -9. He ido por la camara para inmortalizar el dato, pero cuando le queria sacar la foto el enfoque estaba bloaqueado, congelado? He ido al baño y he dejado la camara un rato sobre la calefaccion, y ha vuelto a la vida. He salido a sacar la dichosa foto y con el poco sol que daba ahora estaba en -6. Luego me he metido al desayuno y lo he arrasado varias veces. Y luego he hecho tiempo mientras el sol calentaba un poco el desierto este. Al final estaba en marcha casi a las 11. He hecho mis compras y he salido de Grants hacia el oeste, todo cuesta arriba y con un viento oeste cojonero. Al final he llegado al punto mas alto, que marca la divisoria atlantico-pacifico, a 2200m de altura. Y de ahi para abajo hasta Gallup, que es un pueblo fundado por el ferrocarril, por tanto es un pueblo lineal de 10 millas de largo. He conseguido descuento en el camping y me quedo por 15 dolares. Esta noche apenas dan dos bajo cero, asi que volvemos a temperaturas civilizadas.

This morning I left the tent at 7:30. At about 6 I've got some cold feet but I slept pretty well the rest of the night. Upon leaving the tent it was fucking cold. I looked at the thermometer on the bike and it was marking -9. I got the camera to capture that data, but when I wanted to take the picture the focus was blocked, frozen? I went to the restrooms and left the camera on the heating for a while, and it has come to life. I went out to take the damn picture and with the sunlight the temperature was now facing -6. Then I 've got to breakfast, ravaged it several times. And then I have waited until the sun warmed a little this desert. At the end I was on the road almost at 11. I've done my shopping and left Grants westward, all uphill and with a nasty west wind. In the end I reached the highest point, which marks the dividing Atlantic - Pacific, at 2200m high. And from there down to Gallup, a town founded by the railway, so it is a linear village 10 miles long. I got off at the camp and stay for 15 dollars. Tonight just 2 below zero in forecast, so we return to civilized temperatures.
