Oh my poor starving readers. I really am crap at this blog thing, as I've said before. I just finished an incredibly interesting and exciting summer tour season in Warnemünde, trained a new guide, was written about by Rick Steves as the tour to take in Warnemünde in his new book 'Cruising Northern Europe' (released July 20, 2013) and I am about to embark on a 5 week journey with folks from the Friends of Dave Universe. I also sold my apartment in Warnemünde, moved to Berlin, found a smaller apartment in Warnemünde (bought it) and am juggling so many things. I really, really need an assistant.
I leave on Thursday for Amsterdam... I will scout out some fun stuff for my arriving buds and organize their Welcome packets and just enjoy this city that I love. Amsterdam is so multi sided, I plan to visit the museums, coffee shops, stroll the streets and just enjoy. To kick things off I will meet with some of my first guests at Blue Pepper for Indonesian Rice Table dinner. Should be yummy.
At the moment I am completely overwhelmed with this 5 week trip in front of me. I still have
things to send out, pack, organise and in the midst of all of this.. I was moving to my new home in Berlin and getting jacked around by our buyers. What a mess and what stress. All I can say is... the river and all those lovely cities are waiting and calling.
The itinerary looks like this:
Sept 26 to Oct 2: Amsterdam
Oct 2 - 8: Cologne, Koblenz, Rüdesheim, Speyer, Strasbourg, Breisach, Basel
Oct 8 - 12: Lucerne & Zurich
Oct 12 - 18: Paris
Oct 18 - 25: Lyon, Trevoux, Vienne, Viviers, Avignon, Alres, Les Beaux
Oct 25: Perpignan & Barcelona
Oct 25 - Nov 1: Barcelona
I am already tired. He he

All this is very interesting and tempting! necessarily planned, this trip for next year! I myself would not when I would not get to these cities in such a short time .. This is a huge success, that there is such a tour! Thank you to the organizers, who invented it ... thank you so much
