Por la noche, a eso de las 4 se ha levantado viento, luego lluvia, luego rayos, y a las 6 y pico ya habia pasado todo. Por suerte ayer mirando lo nublado que se estaba poniendo, ya habia previsto esto y habia acampado dentro de un pavellon de picnic. Asi que sin problema. Luego en marcha hasta Niagara por la carretera principal, de manera que si me vuelve a pillar a tormenta encuentre algun sitio donde cobijarme. Tormenta no ha habido, pero he tenido un viento muy fuerte en contra. La entrada a la ciudad de Niagara Falls, muy mala, mucho trafico, arcenes llenos de basura y cristales, barrios de dudosa reputacion... Las cascadas mismas, estan bien, pero me esperaba algo mas grandioso. No son demasiado altas, y hay un circo turistico montado alrededor. De ahi pista otra vez, a una isla que esta remontando el rio unos km, aqui acampo, y mañana tengo que ver como demonios atravieso Buffalo, o si tengo que dar un amplio rodeo.

In the night, at about 4 wind has risen, then rain, then lightning, and at 6-something it was all gone. Luckily yesterday watching that it was getting cloudy, I had foreseen this and had camped in a picnic pavellon. So without problem. Then up to Niagara on the main road, so that if I get caught by some storm I find somewhere where to take shelter. Storm was none, but I've had a very strong wind against. The entrance to the city of Niagara Falls, very bad, a lot of traffic, littered roadsides with glass splitter, neighborhoods of dubious reputation ... The waterfalls themselves, are good, but I expected something more grand. They are not too high, and there is a tourist circus mounted around. From there on the way again, to an island that is going up the river a few miles, encamped here, and tomorrow I have to see how the hell I go through Buffalo, or if I have to make a wide round.
