Tigre (the Venice of Argentina?) and Club 69!!!!

We started off our day nicely, you guessed it shopping!!! Then headed up the river delta to Tigre. After a mission getting the two trains so we could go the scenic route - we could have taken the easy option of one train but that would have been to easy, and no nice view. We arrived at an amusement park on the river.

It is quite a touristy town, but we are tourist after all. We got a boat ride through the delta, quite beautiful, however we all had had coffee (kate had had 3 unfortunately) and got a little hyperactive. It is a pretty amazing place, people do actually live on the islands and the area is mainly used for paper milling?. Then headed to the frutos (fruit) markets which are not really fruit markets any more??? and no we didnt actually buy anything!!! Amasing we know. Finally we got back to the hostel to cook some stodgy food before out night out. We ended cooking a huge pot of spag Bol for about 12 people and yes drank even more red wine (actually our free bottles from the other night!!!). Eventually we went out at midnight (as the club didnt open until 2am) to a couple of bars in Palermo, then onto the club.

It had dancers, drag, hip hop etc (check out the costumes), clothed, half clothed and naked!!! We danced our little butts off, and finally retired about 6.30am!!!! What can we say?? We had an absolute ball, they really do know how to party here!! By the way Mojitos were only AU$5, bargain. Jane had put us on the guest list, so we only had to pay $10 pesos to get in!!!
