Most of the team has arrived today to the house we are staying at. We are still missing Karen and Pete. They have been delayed in the great Detroit airport and will be joining us tomorrow around noon. They may count their blessings on the delay. We did discover the washing machine today was broken and full of stale water that smelt like rotten eggs. Fortunatly we have some fearless men that emptied the water one bucket at time.
Due to the lingering smell in the house, we celebrated our first meal at a local Mexcian restaurant and rolled home after eating to enjoy getting to know eachother.
Tomorrow we will start the day off with a 7am breakfast, orientation, then off to the build site(s).
