It's quiet here but not peaceful

Hello from Jerusalem. Things are very normal here in Jerusalem, even though there is a war going on not far from here. We had a quiet last day of biking in France last Friday, about 40 mile round trip from Limoux to Mirapoix, a town with lots of old (very old) timbered building. Easy riding which we needed and the weather had cooled down some. Saturday was not a good day. We were dropped off at the airport in Talouse at about 9:30 in the am and didn't leave until 6 pm. Then spent hours in the airport in Frankfort, arriving in Tel Aviv at 3:30 am. LONGGGG day. Things are quiet and we are catching up on sleep, spending time with family. Were it not for the newspapers, we would never know that there are terrible conflicts not far from here. We plan to leave early Friday am. Since I don't have email access at the apartment, I doubt I will sign on again. And I couldn't download pictures so that will have to wait til we are home.
