Oh what a day!! Once we arrived we got on a 4x4 ´safari´ tour around the national park, then onto the boat ride. The Boat was suppose to go under the falls, however since it is at its lowest level in 30 years, we got a trip to the end of the national park, then up river through the rapids to as close as we could get. However it was suppose to be a quite boat trip, but we got the kamikaze captain, who took us on an adrenilin ride back to the shore with 180 degree turns at full throttle, it was fun though!!!!
The national park is actually quite large, we had lunch to give us the energy, then off we went. It is serioulsy a beautiful area, but you have to dodge the large tour groups (with the flag carrying tour leaders) or you get stuck behind them, listening in spanish?! Eventually, after making many a mad dash through there groups (as you can see by the photos we did actually go quite mad!!!), we saw the beautiful landscape, waterfalls/sheer cliffs, which would have been even more beautiful had there been water!!!

Love the hair Kateall is obviously the ´devils throat´, with so many falls pouring over in the one section, it is sooooo powerful!!! (I tried to get ride of Jill, but she wouldn´t budge!!!!) Unfortunately there are soooo many tourists that you have to wait your turn to get up to the rail to actaully get a good view of the entire thing, but it is so worth it.
We had an awesome day, which was finished off by an awesome Argentinian BBQ, in a little restaurant in the town of Puerto Iguazu. It only cost us AP$14 (us$4.5 ) each including salad, chips and creme caramel (or fruit salad - as if we would choose that!!!) obviously we couldn´t finish all the meat!!!
(Norm just for your beer meter, 1 litre of beer was only US$2 in the tourist place, and US$1 at Wanda a non-tourist area!!!!!)
Well off to Uruguay tomorrow via San ignacio (in Argentina) for the day.
