Company Party
every year HK SSC has an all employee party- this year it was at Maxims in City Hall and the theme was 60, 70 and 80 dress- LOL Well Hello Everyone:
It has been a while since I have been out here. It has been crazy since returning from the States and my visiting my family.
My boxes finally arrived from the USA- so I have been going through them and figuring out where to put everything- it is so great having my pictures of my family around the different rooms- like having a little piece of home with me. Forgot I had so many mixing bowls, measuring cups, and gadgets so really glad I held off on buying a ton of items.
Started working out at the gym in my apartment complex - slowly building up my endurance again to run- made it to the 2K mark in a run pace before I had to slow down and go back to run /walk - training. Started going hiking around HK- will post pics soon. Went to see Iron Man 3- you can drink in the movie theatre and when you purchase your tickets- you select your seats and basically sit in assigned seats- it is pretty cool and I also now own my own pair of 3 D glasses- LOL. Slowly starting to get more
of a social life and routine and getting a bit more around HK . I haven't had a chance to travel for pleasure yet- hopefully in June but I was in Singapore Mon- Wed ( am) this week. I do love Singapore. Had to go out to eat with the client which ended up being a fun time but we went for Japanese food and the client ordered- I had to take one for the team and eat jelly fish, sea urchin and raw fish- I had so much wasabi on that raw fish to just get it down- I can still feel the slimeness- yikes. The next night I went out out to eat with my Singapore co- workers and the restaurant was great. It was in the Marina Bay Sands Garden- beautiful place- the restaurant is called Pollen and is in a huge garden atrium. Amazing- I have a few pics and will post soon. Hoping this week to just catch up on bills, get my Mother's day gift out on time , hike a bit around the beach area and do laundry. It has been really rainy in HK in April and May - the weather is
turning humid- but I am not complaining- The pool is open - no one is ever in it. Going to plan a BBQ for my team in the next few weeks which should be fun and we are planning on going octopus fishing- yes you heard me correctly octopus fishing as one of our team events. Should be interesting and watch for those pictures.

Hi
Sue glad you are getting settled. Sounds like you have a lot of good times in HK - I would be a little out of my league with some of the food but of course you are young and can tolerate change better. Looking forward to your pictures.
