Never found out what this really was.. and it was also off the beaten path
My second night in Liverpool went much smoother and better than the first. After spending the day wandering around the city and seeing some interesting sites and signs, Jessica and I rested for some much needed breeze by the ocean before heading back to the hostel to rest and freshed up for the evening.
We wandered and babbled and we tried to find the Unity theater for a preformance night, but due to babbeling ended up having to back track twice since we kept missing the streets.. heh oops. Finally we arrived at the theater paid our 5 quid and sat down. The last preformance was amazing and was worth the 5 quid alone. They were a break dancing group and I've never seen anyone move they way they did in person. I literally couldn't take my eyes off them to take any proper pictures. I did manage to get some of one of the other groups, one which was from Portugal and played a stomach booming percussion set in which they their sticks around as well as their drums. The one drummer completly worked the audience as he dance off stage did a few extra clicks of the heels a little wink and a huge white smile. Definatly got a chuckle out of me.
After we were done we decided to go for a beer and meandered back the direction where we had misguided ourselves earlier. Outside a pub we asked a few guys who were standing outside where to catch some good music, they pointed down the street to three guys half a block down..
"See those guys, follow the one with the nice smile" Giggleing we wandered down the street and I think the first thing out of my mouth was not a greeting but a statment.
"We're following you"
Perhaps I come off as creepy yes no?
And volia suddenly we had three ambassadors for the evening.. they lead us to a series of interesting places that just got better and better by the one. They just kept us relativly close to the hostel but at one point I looked up the street and it was just pub after club and more pubs and more clubs, a little shocking.. I'm so used to my quiet little Victoria I suppose. One place we went to called Baa baa's had uni sex bathrooms.. WEIRD.. interesting but WEIRD. Oh and I also got my first taste and enjoyment of real british redbull. One word.. whoa. The last quarter of it I had to chug it back before we ran out the door and I literally had to run outside for some fresh air to let my body cool off from the rush of it. One of our fine ambassadors also informed me it's been known to kill people if they've consumed too much. Death by beverage.,. that's an awesome way to go.
Our darling ambassadors made sure that we got home. Hats off to them for treating us like gold and ensuring that we had a great..no wait AMAZING time in Liverpool. I'll definatly be making a trip back in the near future.
Due to ticket and accomidation problems I've decided to head back to Bolton for a few days before flying out to Dublin on Monday. I needed sleep and rest anyways..

Cheers,

Sarah
over and out.

The second pub.

This used to be used as a cellar, each room had arched ceilings of brick and three rooms that were long and opening connected several stairs underground.
