The last few days have been wonderful. The sun is still blaring down every day with no signs of letting up.. Everyday is STILL in the 30's and I don't think I have ever drank this much water in my life or sweated so much either.
So the update, a few days ago as night time was falling I was promised a Hedgehog hunt, so off we went with flash light and a bottle of wine to view the open sky.. and got distracted by the bottle of wine and no hunting really happened.. the next night it was a mission. We brought a tent, cat food (apparently this is key) and a head lamp. We set up camp in this crazy hill field area.. to get to the site we hiked through grass up to waist for about 10 mins.. interesting yes no? Once it was dark (this is when the hogs come out) we started out hunt.. we went through a few cow fields and found alot of shit.. no really.. literally.. shit.. and jumped a few barb wired fences and wandered all through a golf course.. we seperated alot.. I going one way, Coley the other..

Outside the Art Gallery and in the end the score finialized.. Coley spotted two.. me ZERO. I'm super mad.. I will find one.. and I will take one home.. well maybe.
Anyways the next morning I woke up to the scorching sun and a slight hangover from the red wine and wandered around in hopes finding one.. but I gave into the heat and begged to go home. Upon arriving home I raced to the fridge where I sat on the couch and drank about a liter of juice.. no glass ALL class.. after feeling refreshed I retired to my bedroom and packed my bags for London.
So be careful be safe right? I double checked the times and transfers to get to London where Robyn lives. "Liverpool street stations" she told me.. so I typed it in.. check, check.. perfect. Got to station in Bolton and Coley joined me for a ride into Manchester where he got off and made sure I got to my next train and then took off for a wander. The train I got onto had no seats left but a little cramped one with no windows. THAT part is fine.. the part the sucked was about
Central Liverpool
A aweomse way to cool off in the summer here. 20 mins into the ride when I realized it was getting hotter by the minute. The air conditioning had been hooped for the last few hours they explained and were working on it. I last about another 30 minutes before I could feel my head starting to go black.. it was unbelieveble how hot it was. I'm guessing about 33 maybe more.. but no wind.. no fresh air jsut sweating English people trying to get to London. I stood up and made my way through about 4 cars before I found a seat... this one with a little bit of a window but DAMN was it nice and cool. Plotted myself down and took in the country side I could see.
I arrived in London Euston where I was supposed to make my last transfer to "liverpool street station" and stepped outside for some lovely London breeze where I stumbled across a Krispy Kreme Douguts and Starbucks.. had a bit of a chuckle and made friends with a piegon that named Frank. I asked him where the London bridge was and if he'd been there.. then I realized perhaps the heat had gotten to me. I wished him godspeed and
stepped inside to find my train. I looked up.. there it was.. platform 12 and it was leaving.. TIMECHECK please.. NOW.
Racing to the platform the doors had just opened to it as I arrived and suddenly it felt like some kinda Mardi Gras riot people were literally running down the platform. Crossing myfingers I had read everything properly I raced after them past the half dozen or so First class cars (which look REALLY nice) and happily sat down window seat.. all to myself stretched out and enjoyed the country side. Fields of sheep, air balloons and cute little house boats on the canal. Took my book out and read... had a nap and woke up as we were arriving in a station... and my eyes read.

What the F%^K?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
I was JUST IN London.. I jumped off and asked a lady as she passed by.. I thought this train was going to liverpool street station... "oh it is.. Well it's Liverpool St. Lime Station.."
THIS for the record for anyone else traveling here is a BIG difference.
"So I'm just outside of Liverpool????"
"Yes" and walked
Liverpool
First two momuments I saw coming off the train. away.
A moment of silence... And then I just started laughing.. alone.. people staring at me like I was crazy, but hell I had already talked to a bird today so what is wrong with a little laughter...
????
SO now what thinks me? I called Robyn in London "Where are you?"
"I don't really know.. just outside of Liverpool"
*insert silence*
"uhm.. I took the wrong train, I don't think I'm coming tonight"
After a short discussion with her I decided to go for it.. Why not? I've always wanted to see Liverpool. I jumped on the next train and arrived shortly after 10. Called Coley told him the situation, went to a pub had a beer and the bar keepers after explaining my stupidity started calling hostels and hotels around the city. I called Coley back and he found me a hostel on the internet and had phoned and booked it for me. After a short cab ride I arrived at a cute little hostel about 30 mins walk from downtown and had a cup of tea made a few more phone calls and headed to bed.
This is a really long entry,
I don't blame you if you haven't read half of it.
SOOooooooooooooo.. now this morning after an excellent nights sleep on the top bunk I went to the kitchen where I made myself some tea and toast and sat outside and enjoyed the shade. A girl who had been staying in the same room as me asked to sit down.
Conversation went like this.
"where you from?"
"canada"
"me too"
"where in canada"
"west coast"
"me too"
"I'm from Vancouver island"
"me too"
"victoria??"
"ME TOO!!!"
How weird is that? So we've been walking around the city and being happy little tourists.. so far so good. I think I'll stay another night looks like a cool Urban Hip hop show this evening .
Ayup.. So a little accident has brought me a long ways from where I want to be.. and I think I'll go to London tomorrow instead. Cool .. Liverpool. Why not eh?
-->Sarah.. over and out.
