We finally arrived at our hotel in Edinburgh. It was a long flight from Newark because after we took off the first time we had to fly back to Newark for repairs. We ended up being four hours behind schedule. The problem was with the thermostat--the air conditioning would not turn on. My suggestion of just rolling down a window or two to keep things cool was not taken seriously for some reason.
It's nap time for now--then Charles and I will check out the city.
