Sans the sausage and ham.
I started off our last day with my first "English Breakfast" (vegetarian). It was so filling. And yummy. After that, it was off to Buckingham Palace, where there was something going on within the gates. Maybe the changing of the guard? I'm not sure. I couldn't see through all of the people. We got to see the palace though. Next, we went to the National gallery, home to original works by Da Vinci, Van Gogh and Monet. It gave me goosebumps to be in the same room with such famous paintings. Inches away. Oh, and the museum was HUGE. It took several hours to get through. Wonderful, breathtaking works.
Then we were off the Piccadilly Circus to do some shopping. Beth and I found some cheap luggage to bring gifts home in (only 5 pounds. Sweeeet.) We walked along Oxford and up Carnaby Street, which was full of kooky clothing shops. Fun to look at, WAAAY too expensive to buy.
After that, we picked up luggage, took the Underground to King's Cross Station, and caught the 6:30p train to Cambridge. Now, here I am. "Home."

London, in summary:

British Museum - HUGE
Tower of London - REALLY BIG (Ravens

You Rock!
Eldon was right a few comments back, you know. You DO represent America to those Brits around you. Thank God you do such an awesome job of it. Now, if I could just convince myself to follow your example and be 20, thin, carefree again. Sigh. You're the me I wish I had been at your age. Share!
