After an easy flight, me and kim found ourselves on the express train into bangkok. was crazy to think that 13 hours ago we'd left behind cold and breezy england to find ourselves surrounded by hundreds of people, mopeds everywhere and within about 10 seconds of getting of the metro, we'd spied our first rat😊 all an adventure😊 finding our hostel wasn't the easiest and had to ask about 3 different people, but we made it through the winding backstreets of bangkok to Cozy Place, our hostel for the next 3 nights😊 the next day marked the arrival of kyle into our lives, and after a brief catch up, we threw ourselves onto the streets of bangkok😊 our first stop was to get kyle a vietnam visa which was easily accomplished and was ready within the day, so we had a wander through china town, marvelling at the exotic items on display, and getting lost amongst all the stalls selling fruit, vegetables, strange looking fish, anything you could have ever wanted was there! we then whiled away some time in lumphini park, watching the monitor lizards and turtles in the lakes and playing on the outdoor gym. the evening was much more lively, after a crazy tuk tuk ride, we arrived at khao san road😊 and was as busy as we'd expected. we had a couple of chang towers and sangsom buckets to celebrate our first night in thailand, and we all had a blast😊

The next day was slightly more subdued as the effects of our night out wore off, but we did visit patpong market, which sold every knock off and fake item ever, from pandora bracelets to prada bags. was an experience. we headed home for an early night as we had our first bit of travelling to do, we're heading north to ayuthaya😊
