Well the adventure begins with a huge hangover...lol...
I am writing this from Singapore Changi, after a fab flight from Sydney this morning. I must say I was hugely pleased after a huge night last night to get on the plane and find that I had been upgraded to business class.
I had my doubts this morning when I was checking in that I was actually going to be flying today, funny thing was I went to check in and said Im going to Singapore and they said there is no flight to Singapore this morning. Well I was like, man I have been so looking forward to my trip what the hell has happened. Anyways can you believe it we were off to Dempasar, (ie Bali), spewing that I did not know I was going via bali as I could have hung out there in the sun for a couple of days! Oh well!
So Bruce believe it I completely accidently added another country to the 100 target now the official countries I have visited is 45! So the goal of 60 after this big trip gets easier when little bonuses like this get thrown in. We
were treated to such a view flying in and out of Bali and I had some great fun getting to know my new camera with some great plane shots of bali.
So anyways I am now in Changi sitting here snacking away on some great food...(which is a welcome relief after our mammoth effort last night (ie no sleep) and feeling extremely seedy this morning.
So back to last night, this was the night where Timmy and I had our combined 30th and my farewell. We had a lot of fun with friends and family some who had come from Melbourne etc. The stand out moments were probalby after we left the party when a small group of what I would say were dedicated troopers(all of them not having to get on a plane at 10am) hit the dance floor in Cerrutis. Timmy, there is some evidence that I have destroyed (joking), actually the photos of me upside down with you holding on to me were quite funny(Ill share those ones separately). Lights out in manly so the dedicated troopers stopped of for a pie or two and then did the walk back to the apartment we were
renting (I think we walked in the door at 430am). Bridgy (silly you) agreed to pick her boyfriend up from the airport at 6am, man she had no sleep...( I guess I got an hour...) I promised Suze I would report on the decision to leave so early the next morning and defiinately although im not feeling crash hot I would not have done it any other way.
Going back a couple of days, finishing up work on Wednesday was great(still no doubts so felt great about that), I had a double bonus a big(very big) birthday cake, lots of presents and for those at Pepsi Co my final presentations to the Exec and then walked out the door at 7pm bound for Kazzies for one last night with her before I headed to Coffs Harbour, Kazzie and i had a ball putting together music for the party and just generally having a good girly night!
So I spent my actual birthday on Thursday in three cities, Sydney, Coffs Harbour and then finishing up in Tamworth with the family. I got to have a look at my house, squeeze in lunch with my mate Tim Cotsell and then
drove with mum to Tamworth where we had a great family dinner. We went to this fab italian fusion restaurant and drank far to much red wine with my dad, ate some oysters and shared a lot of laughs.
So anyways not looking forward to the flight to Frankfurt but anyways I guess you get that! The plan is to take a train from Frankfurt to Belgium, meet Cara, pack the car(yes Cara I have tons of stuff!! Lol) and head down to Diep in France to meet Jen and spend the next week touring around northern france before the Europeans start on the 6th of August!

Good reading
Hey Bella! Good work on the blog, it makes much better reading this way for some reason than the old group email style, maybe it's the photo's, or the layout - dunno but it works! U made me think about the countries I've visited, so I went back and counted - I'm at 45 as well! Happy travels!
