Summer has finally arrived. I have dug out my shorts.

The ferry trip from Wellington was very smooth. Which is

Not always the case. The best is the last hour coming in

through Queen Charlotte Sound. We are now in Nelson

on the South Island. The sunniest region in New Zealand.

Today was a planning day. Tomorrow we will drive up to

Able Tasman Natl. park and do a coastal walk.

We have experienced a earthquake when we were in Wellington.

Nothing major but quite strange.

Here are some images from our crossing yesterday

As always

New Island
You got some great shots from the ferry boat. Amazing how beautiful it is there.

Beautiful
Feel really bad that I haven't been able to keep up with your trip this time....or anything on the computer, for that matter. Christmas is not a good time for "keeping up" with ANYTHING!! Love to both of you, and happy (continued) travels.

Hows it going.
I hope is all great with you guys. We are getting excited seeing all your photos. It does not look like we get to meet up... I think we are about 2-3 days apart from meeting.
