It has got all we need for a weekend away, just needs a Disco ball and a Spice Rack.
Hello Again,

After a very rushed first Manchester Blog Entry, we've decided to do a second one with leftover photos and further events. As for the Golden Midget thing, I just thought the title needed a little something extra.

Well our latest adventure saw us doing a 5 hour walk up Mount Snowdon, in the Snowdonia region in North Wales. It was quite an adventure, with views across the surrounding area to the coast and on to Angelsea. We were treated to very good weather, with it being about 24 and only wisps of cloud on the horizon. The down side of this was that we are now a bit sunburnt, and were quite exhausted from spending so much time in the sun. The only shelter was underneath the railway bridges (There is a steam powered service up there for what we called the 'slackers'). There were a lot of people on the walking trail to the top - Ben had a bit of a chat with an old Indian guy who was dressed completely in traditional clothing; it seemed like a world away from anywhere up there.

It was about a 3 hour drive to get there,

Sorry wrong trip
no doubt longer than normal due to our 'shortcuts' and the vans cruising speed of 65 miles per hour, but we managed to see some great scenery - We drove through the Vale of Conwy, a valley with steep rock faces and birds circling overhead. It felt a bit like Middle Earth - the rocks rising up around us proved a spectacular sight as we passed through it at Sunset.

We overnighted at a Mountain farm near Mt. Snowdon, before setting off in the morning for the long walk. There were sheep, goats and ducks around the camping area, making Stacey feel very much at home! It was run by this old welsh guy who was very hard to undestand, but was very welcoming; His Welsh accent was beautiful to listen to. It sounded very similar to the Swedish Chef off the muppets...

We finally made it back to Manchester after the walk, exhausted and no where near ready for another week of work. But we are back into it, with plans to travel to Nottingham and Sherwood forest next weekend. The weekend after that we are off to the Peak's District with Ben's cousin Kristy and her boyfriend Matty, for more fun and adventure. Anyway hope you are all well,

Ben and Stace
