Ay dios mio... Friday night was the parade of 'faroles'. Everyone had little decorated 'faroles' that had lights or candles in them. Some were homemade, and others were bought. All the kids were so excited. My host family, ashley, and I walked in the parade. Numerous times I thought my hair was going to catch on fire... Not fun.

After the parade, all of the linfield students went out to a dance club called Night Fever. It was a really good time. They had music in Spanish that was kinda techno-y but they also played music in Engligh. We were out until 2 AM! Crazy.

This morning was the parade for Independence day! The parade was SO long! And we didn't even stay the whole time! There were a lot of different bands, schools marching, and flag carriers. It's so awesome, it's like two Fourth of July's! 😊

After lunch, my host parents and I went to Los Angeles to visit one of Alejandra's uncles. We hiked around his property (which is huge) and picked fruit. I really like meeting all their extended family members, they're all so nice.

DAD: A Mcdonalds opened in San Ramon yesterday! 😊 but, they only have desserts. Thought of you 😊

Miss and love you all.
