On some maps, Syme .Loverly place to stay.
Today, Wednesday and all is well in putting the boat to bed. Robert, Bruce and Ross have left us to continue their journey through Turkey with Roberts wife and her sister. We had a couple of farewell dinners with them and we all agreed that the last few weeks have been a ball. Five guys on a boat is a big ask, especially as the 3 farmers had not meet us before and Martin and I both wondered how things would go. But no sweat. We had a ball and laughed, drank and ate our way through the wonderful Greek islands. My biggest problem was keeping up with them. I am sure we will keep in touch. Marmaris is a fairly large place and full of English tourists. We haven't had a big look around as the marina is quite a distance from the town. We are quite keen to get away from here as it is not very attractive were we are sitting. We have both suffered bee stings, but the pool is nice. We will endeavour to leave here on the Thursday afternoon and and spend 2 nights in Rhodes be fore we take off from there to Athens

to start the long haul home. Once home, I will do a couple of summeries of the trip and mention some of the stupid things that have happened. I will catch up with a lot of you over the next few weeks. This has been fantastic and I thank you for joining me in this experiance. I will catch you all later. Pip/Rod

easy online booking with Yachtsngulets for 2013
I have been to Turkey many times, staying in tourist resorts. But for next summer I fancied something a little different, and decided to take a sailing boat around the coast. I wanted to see different places, like Gocek, Fethiye and Datca – places a little different than just mass tourist towns. I had heard of a new company Yachtsngulets, and decided to check out their website. I was a little in awe at the amount they had to offer, but the moment I posted a query they got straight back to me, and were very helpful in organising my holiday. Im going for a week, so have a lot to do in a short space of time. But im really looking forward to spending some relaxing time on deck and visiting some quiet authentic villages. YNG gave me to chance to choose my own gullet, own itinerary, and even asked about my dietary requirements. I felt really taken care of, and so far their customer services have been fantastic. I’ll be taking my youngest son with me, and apparently there will be lots for him to do too, like snorkelling, diving, swimming, as the boats carry water sport equipment. Personally im looking forward to the sunshine and some decent food!
