Chris Hege Lilly and Stella on the ferry.
Here in Bergen I have it pretty easy. Sleep in every day {except if Chris and I go fishing}, read alot, go for walks and even though we have been here so many times there is always something new to discover. The drives through the country side always amaze me as the scenery is very spectacular. Some of the places Chris and I fish are unreal. On fishing, I still have not been succesful in getting myself a salmon, but I do pick up the occasional sea trout and others. But just being with Chris and out and about is enough to make me happy. Di and Hege never seem to stop talking about cloths, home decor, kids and the normal every day things of a family. The 1st weekend we were here, Hege Chris and the kids along with Rune and Lillen, Di and I all went to an old area and old mansion,in beautiful surroundings with gardens , called Rosendal. Amazing valley with a bit of snow still on the mountain tops and a beautiful old house and gardens. A lot of history. The 2nd weekend Chris, Hege, kids, Di and I went to a place called Kinsareik, which is in

the Hardanger fiord, one of the big tourists areas of Norway, and stayed the weekend.Great play area for kids and the cabins are set by the sea with wondrful views and such loverly surroundings. You have to drive, then ferry then drive again, which adds variety to trips. Some of the roads are very narrow and have drops down to fiords of 100s of ft. Spectacular. There are many tunnels and these can be many kms long. If a hill is in the way you just drill through it. Lilly and Stella are , as all grandkids are, just wonderfuland the fact that they know us so well from Skype makes it so much easier. Lilly's english is fantastic and when Di and I are with her and she is busy telling someone that "this is my Nana and Pops from NZ and they can't speak Norwegian, we think she is pretty special. She will then explain what we want. So!! As always just a special time. Di went back to NZ on Friday, arrived back on Sunday, and I will continue to live the life of luxury until next Thursday and head back to the boat which I will pick up at an island outside of Athens called Aegina.

Waterfall

This water fall can freeze during some winters. To see it like that would be amazing. You can walk up in behind this and the volume of water is huge
