should we be scared? Is this an omen
Hola!

Well we arrived safely at our appointed hotel?! rather strange place considering we left such a good hostel. We weren´t quite sure of our surroundings, but went for a walk anyway. Lima is dirty, but the buildings are cute.

Much better coffee up here that is for sure. In typical Australian style we sat in the hotel bar drinking cerveja (beer) whilst we watched the end of the world cup (yes Callun, Jill and I actually watched the football). After retreating to our room, we felt rather closed in so when to play cards and drink more beer in the bar.

Today we awoke at 11.15am, but we didn´t find out until the after noon it actually was 10.15 (forgot to change watch back 1 hour). We wondered around the city, trying to avoid the protest march - there was police and army tanks everywhere. We went to the spanish inquisition museam and found that quite interesting with the spanish guide (yes we followed a spanish tour - it was the only one we could find and you couldn´t do it yourself) went through the torture chambers - very interesting. Basically that was about all we ended

Where is willy? - we have made this one easier. (also go back and check the last one!
up doing except eating as we had to meet with our tour guide this afternoon for our plane tickets to Cuzco (which they didn´t actually have, so we now get them at 3.30 am tomorrow when we leave for the airport). The other tour leader (cute in a south america kind of way) has asked us out for dinner - unfortunately with other americans - not quite sure!

Will give you more once we arrive and aclimatize at Cuzco.

Love and many many kisses
kate and Jill

I am sure it was the soccer
Hey Katie and Jill I bet it was the beer that made you stay and watch the world cup. I accidently deleted the link to this page and had to search the internet to find it. Looks like lots of fun is happening. if not make up some really good stories.
