On Tuesday Greg went to Churchills war cabinet rooms while the girls went to Florence Nightingale Museum, where the audio guides were stethoscopes, very ingenious. Then we met up and headed down past Horse Guards Parade, which is all fenced off ready for the Olympic Beach Volleyball, to watch the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace. The crowds were huge, despite the showers, as Olympic tourists are starting to arrive, so we watched the new guards leave from the Wellington barracks and the old ones return. An added bonus was the mounted guards going to and from the Prime Ministers place past the Wellington barracks because Horse Guards Parade isn't available. Next we checked out the Queens Mews or Stables although Emma was more interested in the very tame squirrels in St James Park. After a late lunch we went to Kensington Palace, another place that has been revamped since our last visit.

Holiday
Sounds like you are getting around London really well and seeing some great things. Sorry the weather is not better, it's still been fantastic here in Sydney. Skyped Amy, Mum and Dad last Sunday and they are keen to do it again this weekend. Keep on enjoying your holiday....no photos of Carol or Laura?
