Mile Zero
Where the real adventure begins So we got out of Grande Prairie about 1100 this morning. Uneventful ride from there to Dawson’s Creek, other than the rain, fresh gravel repair, bird strike, and hail. What are you going to do for any of them other than press on? At DC, we meet up with about 6 other riders all headed the same way. There was 1 from NJ, TX, FL, one from Heber Springs, AR, and some others. Mike and I decided to push on to Ft Nelson. We figure the closer we are when the road opens, the better our chances of doing what we came for, and catching the ferry. Latest updates we have heard for road opening are from Monday, until days from now. We are going to play it by ear, and make a decision Monday. Tomorrow, we are going to ride up to the Northwest Territories, and anywhere else that we see.

So who got the bird strike? If it was you post the vid. hahahahaa I had a rear axle nut bad off tonight. The drive belt is too loose. Plans are to make it to auto zone or one of the part stores and fix it. Gald I know how to fix this. My you have better reliability then me. Is the ferry a locked in date or can it be slipped?
