Hello again,

Just when we thought we had nothing to add to the blog..........Adam became engaged to Jessica Palumbo!

We are in Hawaii as are Jessica's parents. The perfect time for an announcement. Last Friday on Kauai, at the top of the trail overlooking the Napali Coastline, Adam proposed to Jessica and she said yes!

Just to give you a little background, in case you don't all ready know........This is like a made for TV movie.

Adam and Jessica met at age 5 and 6 in Singapore where both families had overseas postings in the 1980's. Over the years the two families have kept in touch at least at Christmas time with cards and letters explaning the activities and whereabouts of our children. Adam moved to Hawaii in 2006 and Jessica in 2007. Through the correspondence of their parents they discovered they were on the same island. They got together after 20 years and the rest is history.

We were very happy to hear that Adam and Jessica are engaged and especially pleased that Adam called us. We are happy that we got to meet her and found her such a sweet and lovely girl. Bill is doing very well in his recuperation. The right arm is still not cooperating to his satisfaction but he is walking entirely with his cane. He is still going twice a week to therapy in Centralia. I am doing very well also - and I am almost finished with my Secret Pal's afaghan - so I can still do it!!!! Love to all - Hugs, Bill and Elaine
