Hello all from the people in the shitty camping....
Well it is the big man for tonight doing the blog and so here I go. As Robyn was saying yesterday, our campground is defently not what we were expecting. In fact it is a pice of crap and we really don't want to be there at all........ The cabins are hot, with out the wind blowing through them at all, and dirty. Last night we decided to to the time honored solution to the problem and get drunk off cheap wine, out of tetra packs no less. It worked wonderfuly well and by the time we had finished off the wine it was about 3 in the morning..... gee, time seems to fly when drinking cheap wine =) So we ended up sleeping till about noon today and were suffering for it, the cabin was sweltering and we were just about swiming in our sweat. Not a preaty picture. Today was also our vespa day and good news, we have survived so far, we still have to make it back to the camp site should be just fine. The campsite will call a rental place for you and they will come and get get the paperwork done with one of the scooters at the campsite parking lot. That went well until the guy tryed to charge more than what we were told, luckly that got sorted out. I went for a quick spin around to get the feel for it and then came back to pick up Robyn. Things were going great! We went to Psarau beach where they had a dive center, I wanted to check out things there and see if I could go have some fun. Though I had my wallet stolen in Rome with my divers licence in it the dive center is able to look at a site that has all of the cirtafied diver on it. So tomorrow I am off to go diving, I am getting a refresher dive and then a boat dive and all the equpment for 100 Euros. That was a great thing to find out. So while I am in the water Robyn is going to be soaking up the rays on Paradise Beach and chillin. I am so excited to go diving again, it has been a while since I was diving last. During the whole vespa ride over to the beach to find the dive center, Robyn was just a bit scared out of her mind. I think that she was trying to pop my torso off from my legs, just kidding, she did keep a tight grip on my waist though. She didn't really like the fact that we were on only two wheels instead of four. I think that if she could have, she would have perfered a quad to go around on. THe streets here are not really ment for two four wheeled vehicles to pass one and other. With the vespa it is easier to get around I find. It took a bit but Robyn finally got more relaxed and got used to the vespa. After Psarau beach we headed to Paradise beach for some lunch of the gyros. I think that we have now become gyro junkies, they are so good and so cheap perfect for the budget wary traveller. Checking out the beach, Robyn is so stoked for the beach tomorrow and the chillin and the mindless people watching. Then it was off to Super Paradise Beach where all the gay people are. Getting there we kind of took some back roads and looked like we were getting lost, but we made it there. There was this big long hill right before the beach and we looked at it and wondered if the vespa would be able to make it up it when we head back. Heading out on to the beach we found some space for our towels and set-up our beach space for a while. The beach there was much like the rest of them in that it is more a fine rocky beach rather than a sand one. The first thing that we did was go for a swim in the beautiful water. The one thing that makes this beach different than the others that we have been to is that along most of the beach after about 10 feet from the shore there is this nice drop off in to water that is about 12 feet deep. The rock before the drop off is also covered in alge and that makes for a slippery surface and I ended up sliding right off the drop-off. It was a fun experience and enjoyed it, Robyn just kind of jumped in to the water. After a few hours of soaking up the rays we decided to head back for a shower and then dinner back at Paradise beach. I got a big start for the nice big hill and made it up the first part just fine and then the vespa died......... It was out of gas and the gas gage read full....... grrrrrrr......... so down the hill we go and then the hunt for gas begins...... No gas at the beach, the only gas is in town. Great! Just what I need, so I phone up the place that we rented the vespa from and they say that there is gas there........ so back I go, hunting for gas. I talk to this nice lady that worked in the self-serve restaurant and she phoned the place and so a guy came with gas. For some reason the guy made us pay 10 euro for the gas, something about us not putting any gas in to start with.............. so we were go to go once again. We ended up just heading to Paradise beach for dinner, after we checked out the campground that was there. We found out that not only was it cheaper and better, but we also have breakfast included with the price. So we are getting out of the hell hole called Mykonos Camping and moving over to Paradise camping tomorrow morning. I have the first part of my dive at 10 and so we are moving everything over earlier and hopefuly we will have a good nights sleep for our last night in Mykonos. After this wonderful news we headed in to town for money and internet and are about to head back for showers and sleep..... Tomorrow is going to be so nice with the new place we are going to be happy campers. Well that is about all for now and we will up-date you all on how nice the campground is later.

Paradise Beach!
Hey babes, Sorry I am too lazy to actually email you... but this is so much easier to add my little two cents. Sorry to anyone else who has to rea my random crap. Just wanted to say how excited I am for you that you are going to gay beach. Did I mention that I was in Toronto for Pride parade? I have never seen so many men in hot shorts and thongs. So hot, but so not interested... Sad really. have fun with the thongs. I'm trying to get to niagara today... forgot that it was a long weekend because I am a dumbass...
