Alta Lake

This is the place I work at four days a week

For those of you who already received this update, here are the pics to go with it! Sorry its the same one, I ran out of time! About to head out cross country riding!! Hope my next addition doesn't include stories of broken bones!!! ;-)

Things are fantastic! I'm having a blast. Work is so busy at the mo. We're experiencing our summer and it can only be described as F-ing hot! The norm here is the equivilent of an indian summer in England. Its great for my tan though. I've been working down at Alta lake on the concession, renting out boats, giving instruction and the such. It sounds pretty boring, but I get to hang out in one of the most beautiful spots in Whistler, chat to loads of people, hand out with friends, have my day pass really quickly and then go swimming in the lake everyday after work. Not to mention great bbqs, beer drinking, cross country biking and whatever else is going on. It doesn't get dark here 'till after 10pm so you can have another day after work!!!

I've also been doing some canoe and bike guiding too which is ace. The river

Hhhmmm What else. Well I went to see a semi famous Ausi band called the Cat Empire the other night and they rocked. They played in a local bar in the village for only about 100 peopple. So, up close and personal. i danced right at the front and within touching distance of the band. It was awsome!!!!!

I'm going camping with Tom and some mates on friday to a place called Cheakamus Lake for the night. Its just outside Whistler and apparently its stunning. We're just going to do some hiking, biking, reading. Very laid back. Unfortunatly the lake is too cold for swimmimg but the boys will be fishing so great food for dinner! I'll try to keep my eyes out for the bears too.

Anyway, I will keep you updated on my amazing adventures and I'm sure there'll be many!!!!
